About Us
Welcome to Woof and Wander, where my passion for dogs is at the heart of everything I do. It was created to provide Cornwall with a true home-away-from-home experience for your beloved dogs. Whether it's for daycare or overnight boarding, your dog will receive the highest standard of care in a safe, loving, and enriching environment.
My mission is simple: to ensure every dog enjoys top-quality care, plenty of attention, and exciting experiences. With a focus on safety, comfort, and fun, I make sure your furry companion has the best possible time, whether they're here for the day or staying overnight.
Weekdays will be spent with their friends at daycare (think of it as playgroup for your dogs!) whilst weekend boarders will be able to explore the best coast lines and beaches Cornwall has to offer.
I am qualified, insured, have a 4 star council license and cannot wait to meet you and your pups!

Woof and Wander Services
With plenty of play spaces, rest areas and the freedom to romp and play, your four-legged friend will be straining at the leash to come to Woof and Wander.

Daycare
Whether you need your dog looking after whilst you are at work, or you would just love them to make some friend's, Woof and Wander is ready to meet yours and your pups every need. With a large barn (perfect for hiding from the Cornish weather!) and a full secured play paddock, I ensure that every dog has the best time whilst in my care. With early morning drop offs and evening pickup times available, leaving your dog at Woof and Wander has never been easier.
Puppy Socialisation
Having a new puppy can be the most exciting and rewarding time! Here at Woof and Wander I know how important it is that every puppy has the best start in life and this includes having lots of socialising and making friends from a young age. With penned off areas, tucked away cosy corners, and a dedicated young dogs area, I can cater to puppies from 12 weeks old.

Home Boarding
I am also excited to introduce a new service I am now offering: 4-star dog boarding from my home in Newquay. My van is equipped with bespoke, crash tested crates to ensure safe and comfortable transportation between Newquay and Launceston. My house is council licensed and insured, and I am fully qualified and trained in dog first aid. During the weekdays the boarders will enjoy their days at daycare with their friends, and on the weekends, they will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful coasts and beaches in Newquay (along with plenty of cuddles on the sofa of course!).

Get to Know Me
For as long as I can remember I've been obsessed with all dogs... there is a photo of me somewhere as a young girl, with my rain mac and wellies on, standing outside my Aunts and Uncles house in the pouring rain, playing with their dog!
I grew up in Luton, and then moved to the Isles of Scilly in my teens. It was here I got my first dog, a rescue named Alfie. I remember going to pick him up and being absolutely besotted with him.
I would spend most of my weekends walking friends dogs on the islands, and slowly began looking after them over night. I quickly became known as the crazy dog lady.
After moving back to Cornwall just before the first lockdown of 2020, i decided it was time to go back to school so I could start my animal career. After 3 years at Newquay University I qualified with a diploma and degree in Animal Management and Animal Health and Welfare.
Whilst I was studying I took a job with a local daycare and absolutely fell in love with each and every dog I looked after. Over the last few years I have learnt so much from the hands on aspect of my job.... everything from pack behaviour, relationships and who should get the last spot on the sofa!
If someone had said to me 5 years ago that I would have the most amazing opportunity to open and run my own doggy daycare, I would have thought they were mad... but here we are!
Myself, along with my two golden retrievers, Chester and Quinn, cannot wait to meet you all and your pups! I am so excited to be able provide Cornwall with a home from home doggy daycare, where each and every dog will be loved as my own.
